River Bar Soaps

Lagniappe

I learned a new word this past weekend: lagniappe!  Do you know this word?  I liked the sound of it even before I looked up the definition.  Here is what the dictionary says about lagniappe, which is pronounced lan’ yep.

      1. a small gift, especially one given to a customer who makes a purchase
      2. something given or obtained as a gratuity or bonus

Now, to use my new word in a sentence: Tomorrow at the Wednesday Farmers Market at the Chetco Grange Community Center, I will be offering Lemongrass Lotion Bar samples as a lagniappe!  Please come and check out this fine market, make a purchase from River Bar Soaps, and receive your Lemongrass Lotion Bar lagniappe.  There, I did it!  Try this word on for size; it’s a fun one to use!
